About Me

My name is Amber. I’m an art historian specializing in late medieval Roman art history, with a deep passion for 18th century English art and architecture. I have lived in both Rome and London and through my time abroad, formal academic training, and deep passion for these two countries and cultures, I have created Articulated Travel, a curated website devoted to helping the curious traveler better understand these places, their rich heritage, and culture. It also shares personal recommendations on neighborhoods, restaurants, walking tours, and the local makers and producers.

Fully articulated travel, that is, travel where you jump in completely to immerse yourself in a culture, even for a few days, is one of life’s most freeing experiences. Come travel, join me for a journey over the seas, and across the fields to experience the culture, history, food, and local producers of these regions. I hope your bags are soon packed.
